Vanilla Almond Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • 1 tbsp vanilla I add more!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  2. Toss all the dry ingredients together in large bowl.

  3. Wisk the wet ingredients together then stir into dry ingredients.  Make sure all of the oats are moistened.

  4. Spread onto cookie sheet, bake for 45 minutes, turning every 15 minutes.

  5. This will keep in an airtight container for about 3 weeks and will freeze for 3 months.
